We are currently looking for a Machine Compliance Engineer with previous experience of regulatory affairs in vending, white goods or similar industry to join a global food and drinks manufacturer in Hampshire.
Job Summary
The purpose of this role is to oversee all machine regulatory activities globally in order to ensure global market compliance for all new and existing products.
The job holder will also advise the business on upcoming legislation changes and define the right suite of activities to ensure that compliance is maintained and that appropriate lobbying is used to protect the ability of the business to operate effectively and, if possible, gain competitive advantage in the marketplace.
Requirements:
Professional qualification in an electro-mechanical engineering discipline. Recognised qualification in Regulatory Affairs/compliance seen as an advantage.
Experience in Regulatory Affairs in vending, white goods or similar industry.
Proven experience in machine compliance, ideally including product safety, hygiene, water and environment.
Understanding of the process of Product Development.
Proven ability to influence individuals and bodies outside of own company.
Proven ability to work effectively across functions.
Work Permit for the UK
Valid driving license
