A firm of building services contractors in Cambridge seeks an M & E Quantity Surveyor.
This leading Multi-Disciplinary Building Services Contractor in Cambridge requires an M & E Quantity Surveyor to maintain a positive cash flow with accurate costing /valuations and variations along with good negotiation skills. You will need a good all round knowledge of Contracts and a good knowledge of valuation rules for a particular project, also the rules within the Contract referring to entitlement of proper instruction for additional works and remedies for situations of non-instruction along with detailed valuation methods that will be utilised for a particular contract and details of the payment entitlements under a particular contract and remedies for situations of non-payment. You'll need to be able to work as part of a team and work to tight deadlines and you will have a proactive approach to problem solving.
