MEICA Manager. In response to a growing region benefiting from sustained success, our client, a Major Contractor now requires a MEICA Manager to work with the Management team on Water related projects in the South East.

MEICA Manager. In response to a growing region benefiting from sustained success, our client, a Major Contractor now requires a MEICA Manager to work with the Senior Management team on Water related projects in the South East. This opportunity offers the successful MEICA Manager candidate the opportunity to add to the existing team through the appointment of further staff to build and shape the division. You will manage variety of projects and be instrumental in offering advice on tenders for future works.

Key Tasks for the MEICA Manager include:
- Resource allocation scheduling of Project Engineers.
- Reporting to the Director on progress in line with programme
- Assisting the Commercial Manager with procurement, administration and cost reporting of MEICA subcontractors/suppliers.
- Assistance to Project Engineers
- Enforcement and monitoring of the Divisions Quality Assurance programme
- Ensure safe systems of work and that the company safety policy is practiced
- Management of Project Engineers
- Management of MEICA Projects/contracts
- Motivation of Staff
- Communication at all levels rgarding progress of Projects
- Staff Recruitment
- Reporting to Snr Management on project(s) progress
- Any other duties that may be reasonably required by management
Job experience:-
Minimum of 5 years project engineering experience at all levels gained with a contracting company in the field of water.
Specialist Knowledge/competencies:-
- Mechanical, electrical, or chemical engineering knowldege on water and sewerage treatment projects.
- Should be computer literate with good project management skills.
- Good decision maker
- Sound technical knowledge
- Good Team Player
- Knowledge of the construction process
- Sound safety theoretical and practical knowledge/experience
- UK driving licence.
- Commercially and contractually aware
- Good man management skills
- Awareness of quality and environmental practices within the business environment
- Good communicator orally/written
