MECHANICAL HVAC ENGINEER - KUWAIT - CONSULTANCY

REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 8 years experience (Post Grad.) in HVAC design.
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or other Engineering degree
- UAE and/or GCC experience is preferred.
- Sector Experience including: High rise, Villas, Apartments, Offices, Hotels
- Experience of leading a small team
- Good communication skills
- Liaison with other in-house disciplines (Architect, Structural, Electrical)
- Looking for a pro-active candidate able to prioritise and work to deadlines. Must be able to use initiative and be able to co-ordinate and communicate with other in-house disciplines. Applicant must have a good work ethic and good personality.
- Fully IT literate and fully conversant with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Microsoft Projects, Heva Comp/Cymap calculations suites and CAD packages.
- This position is for our Design Consultancy office. Candidates must come from a design consultancy experience background.
IT WOULD BE ADVANTAGEOUS IF YOU HAVE:
- Knowledge with Elite/CHVAC or HAPP for HVAC load calculations.
- Knowledge of local regulations such as Dubai Municipality (DM), Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority (SEWA), Sharjah Municipality and JAFZA. Knowledge of British Standard and NFPA.
- Experience of design of air cooled as well as water cooled central plants.
- Knowledge of designing water supply, drainage, fire fighting LPG system and other plumbing systems is a big plus.
- Able to take on the Mechanical design from Concept stage to tender stage.
