Task Description
To provide NC programs for the drilling and fettling of A400M sub-assemblies and wing build This will include:-
-Converting Catia V5 models into NC Programs for 2 automation systems being used to manufacture A400M wing assemblies. The programming will be carried out using new Delmia & Konnsburg toolsets (eg. CENIT Fastip layer drill, KIMMS)
-Adherence to Airbus process specifications relating to NC Programming
-Writing of first aircraft NC programs and any subsequent modifications
-Working with the production teams to optimize the drilling / fettling processes
CRITICAL EXPERIENCE / SKILLS (MUST HAVE)
Applicants must have the capability to program using Catia V5 with 5-axis (AMG) NC Workbench.
Good working knowledge of Delmia & Konnsburg toolsets (eg. CENIT Fastip layer drill, KIMMS)

Would suit Power Train engineers who have either process, manufacturing or methods engineering experience on engine assembly and engine dress & finishing operations, associated assembly tooling, DC Tooling and associated assembly equipment/techniques. (Work place layouts, overheads, conveyorisation layouts, power unit sequencing etc.)
You ideally will have experience of working with Project Engineers and Operations to develop process definitions, and machine / equipment vendors to obtain functional specifications and quotations. Responsibility to vet quotes, select best technical equipment, watching and monitoring the manufacture of the equipment at suppliers, doing capability studies to ensure equipment is operating at the right capacity, the right quality standards, and so on before its accepted for shipping to the manufacturing facility.
CONTRACT POSITION:
The customer will pay an hourly rate; therefore can you please quote your best hourly and daily rate for this role based on a Ltd Company or Freelance basis.
