Description
Our client, a Major Airline are looking for Leasing Engineers to join their team at Luton.
Job Description
To Co-ordinate the engineering activities that are required by the individual aircraft lease contracts for individual Aircraft joining and leaving the Fleet.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
Conducting the Engineering activities that are required by the individual aircraft lease contracts for individual aircraft joining and leaving the fleet, minimising return costs.
Coordinate activity with Lessors mid term ref Novations, Inspections & Draw down on Maintenance reserves.
Providing data and recommendations to Technical Services on the life cycle costs of major commodities throughout the lease period.
Co-ordinate activates associated with the production of the records required for individual aircraft end of lease requirements.
Co-ordinate the activities associated with individual aircraft, wet, dry and damp lease as they transition the fleet.
Participate in strategic & airline projects as directed.
Providing senior management with statistical information to identify & recommend improvement.
Responsible for Business Continuity & Emergency response procedures relating to Aircraft Records
Key Skills, Knowledge, Experience and Competencies: (i.e. those (including qualifications) required to fulfil role:
Must fulfil the requirements of AMC M.A.706 Personnel requirements
A working knowledge of Part M, Part 145, maintaining currency in the industry through journals, publications etc.
Ability to plan and organise in a methodical and analytical manner
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Excellent oral, written & presentation skills
Experience of Lean Manufacturing techniques, Six Sigma etc.
Financial awareness / Cost Control
