Job Title : Lead/Shift Engineer
Location : Greenwich
Type : Permanent
Salary : £29000 per annum
Working Hours: 42 hours per week, 12 hours shift
Start Date : Immediate
Role:
Looking for Lead/Shift Engineer to join an established team working in a CHP plant. Candidates must be from mechanical background with experience in operation of gas turbines, boilers, pumps, water treatment plant, compressors and other auxiliaries. You will be assisted by Second Shift Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high profile site and one of the market leaders.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the continuous safe, efficient and economic operation of all equipments within CHP plant in accordance with the operational work instructions and comply with all Health & Safety Requirements.
Assist in creating a safe and healthy working environment
Ability to perform isolation of electrical equipment would be added advantage
There is a need to cover other shift engineers during holiday and sickness, for which overtime is paid.
