My client, a Systems Engineering & Programme Management Consultancy provides consultancy to Thales, MoD and other industry clients. They are looking for experienced Lead Systems Engineers to be able to assess the needs of a project, develop the Systems Engineering approach and work with the project manager and product engineers to deliver the solution. They will be expected to provide leadership within the business group, support bids and proposals and interact with customers on technical issues.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate achievements in one or more of the following:
-Technical leadership of a team of engineers developing a system solution or conducting system level testing.
-The development of a bid, system or product solution strategy.
-Provision of advice or guidance on the implementation of Systems Engineering methods and tools on high value complex projects or across product lines.
They are looking for candidates with a broad practical experience of System Engineering and the application of design methodologies and associated tools.
There is travel to client sites in the UK involved, and possibly abroad if desired.
