****Lead Requirements Engineer****, is required for this leading international company responsible for managing & motivating a team and the Requirements management process for this new multi-hundred million pound Government programme which is to deliver an IT enabled, transformed security capability for the UK. This will comprise significant large scale project/programme management, design, development and implementation of state of the art secure systems and software. Based in the Middlesex area within commutable distance of London, St Albans, Watford, Slough, Reading, Heathrow, Bracknell etc.

****Lead Requirements Engineer****, is required for this leading international company responsible for managing & motivating a team and the Requirements management process for this new multi-hundred million pound Government programme which is to deliver an IT enabled, transformed security capability for the UK. This will comprise significant large scale project/programme management, design, development and implementation of state of the art secure systems and software. Based in the Middlesex area within commutable distance of London, St Albans, Watford, Slough, Reading, Heathrow, Bracknell etc.
Working as part of Systems engineering project team, there will be significant customer exposure, through formal project meetings and working groups and so candidates must be comfortable with collaborative working to develop an overall solution.
Managing and motivating the Requirements team which documents the customer/user needs and ensures that the program understands these needs. Prepares specifications using technical knowledge of the specific product and general knowledge of what is needed in such specifications. Sets up a requirement-management system, implementing full change management/control & maintains records of requirement traceability. Ensures that requirements for lower-level products are derived from system level requirements using the architecture and a documented analysis or model. Develops proposal and new business strategies for all types of new business efforts (ECPs, proposals, white papers). Establishes strong relationships with the programmes customer, key stakeholders, Subcontractors etc. Working in an environment that fosters a culture of continuous process improvement. Maintains the technical content of documentation and standards of engineering work being performed on the programme within their technical control.
You will be Degree qualiifed (preferably) with significant professional experience as a Systems Engineer with experience in application architecture, design and solution implementation. Knowledge of information security; Oracle database, BEA middleware stack (weblogic, aqualogic, data services), Red Hat linux, Java, DOORS, Enterprise Architect.
Desirable skills include; Experience of equipment integration programmes; System development in Travel Industry and large scale system of systems; architecture framework experience. Proven and successful track record in design and delivery of systems for major software intensive, system integration programmes. Deep understanding of the Systems Engineering lifecycle, and demonstrable application of relevant methodologies and toolsets. Requirements Management System Coordination. Requirements Analysis and Requirements Change Management.
It would also be an advantage if the individual is a holder of current MoD SC security clearance.
