We urgently require a Lead Mechanical Engineer to take a key role with a CCGT Power Station based in Aberdeenshire This challenging role involves managing a team of Mechanical Engineers who are responsible for the planned maintenance of the Mechanical aspects of the plant, such as Gas Turbines, Hot Gas Streams, HRSG's (Heat Recovery Steam Generators) and Steam Turbines.

We urgently require a Lead Mechanical Engineer to take a key role with a CCGT Power Station based in Aberdeenshire This challenging role involves managing a team of Mechanical Engineers who are responsible for the planned maintenance of the Mechanical aspects of the plant, such as Gas Turbines, Hot Gas Streams, HRSG's (Heat Recovery Steam Generators) and Steam Turbines.
The role reports directly to the Engineering Manager, and requires someone with extensive, practical, Power Station experience, and qualifications to Degree level, or equivalent. It is critical that you have experience with Gas and Steam Turbines, large combustion rotating plant, and Power Station or Heavy Process plant maintenance experience.
You will need an in depth knowledge of Thermal Power Station Operation and be responsible for all aspects of the Mechanical Engineering. This will include providing safe, cost effective and efficient maintenance of all Mechanical aspects of the plant on a long term basis.
Proficient in people management, you will have strong communication and financial management skills. Keywords: Mechanical, Engineer, Engineering, CCGT, Turbine, Power, Energy.
