THE JOB
LEAD MANUFACTURING ENGINEER
Due to continued success and expansion my client is now looking to recruit an experienced Lead Manufacturing Engineer
Based at the clients Lincolnshire facility the main purpose of the role is to plan and define the manufacturing process with new product development. You will also use your skills and experience to select the optimum route and location for manufacture.
Candidate will also be required to balance the needs of the product against feasibility, cost and quality; to influence design and apply lean principles and methods. At later stages in each project your responsibilities will include specification of new plant, facilities, tooling and sourcing.
You will also be part of selection and assessment of suppliers using APQP and PPAP
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Engineering Degree
Six Sigma Training would be advantageous
Supplier development experience
Experience within new process & product development in automotive or similar manufacturing engineering
REMUNERATION
Basic Salary £40k, plus bonuses, re-location assistance (if required), plus additional benefits
