Description
Expanding nuclear company requires a Lead C&I Engineer to lead a team in the design and specification of both new build and refurbishment projects. You will manage the C&I resource deployment across a range of projects to ensure effective utilisation whilst estimating and planning C&I design work, recruit C&I staff to support the projects and identify to the Design Team Leader & Project Manager any shortfalls in resource numbers or capability which may threaten the technical design work on the project.

You will have a relevant engineering Degree (or equivalent) and have proven experience in the design of Electrical, Control & Instrumentation systems, plant & equipment similar to that required. You will have interfaced with other technical disciplines on multi-discipline design projects and will build, develop and motivate teams. You will understand the principles of engineering design checking & design review and be commercially aware of financial implications of design decisions.
SC security clearance is required for this position.
A basic salary circa £35,000 per annum plus an excellent benefits package, including 33 days holiday, contributory pension and life assurance is on offer for this position.
