Description
Our clients joint venture company operates several landfill design and build framework contracts across the north of England, specifically in Doncaster, Warrington and Durham.
Seeking to recruit qualified and experienced Landfill Design Engineers.
Job description:
The successful candidates will:
•Have design experience covering such areas as landfill lining, capping and restoration systems.
•Have some geotechnical knowledge particularly in relation to CQA testing.
•Have a proven track record of developing projects from an initial brief through to construction and project close-down including experience of CQA procedures.
•Be familiar with landfill legislation and industry wide issues.
•Have a satisfactory track record of dealing with the Environment Agency and waste management clients.
Candidate specification:
Candidates should be experienced chartered level civil, geotechnical or environmental engineers who can demonstrate that they possess the following:
•The ability to take ownership of a project and to see it through.
•A self-motivated and proactive approach to client liaison, project delivery and problem solving.
•A commercially focused attitude to projects.
