Laboratory Technician

A market leader that manufactures renowned consumer products is currently recruiting for a motivated Laboratory Technician. With an impressive business plan ensuring growth and investment in the near future they are enjoying a very exciting period. As part of a strong laboratory team, you will be responsible for monitoring environmental compliance and sanitation of advanced manufacturing equipment throughout the plant.
Role & Responsibilities:
oAnalysis and testing of chemical agents used in manufacturing and production areas.
oMaintaining water quality for production
oLab testing of samples and swabs taken on inspection activities
oReporting on environmental hygiene of plant
oCalibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
oPreferably educated to degree or HND level in Microbiology or Environmental microbiology.
oExperience of working and report writing in compliance with ISO 9001:2000
oExperience in an FMCG environment preferable.
