JUNIOR/TRAINEE ELECTRICAL ENGINEERS

NORFOLK
Junior/Trainee Electrical Engineers are now required at this leading car manufacturer in Norfolk to support the Release Engineers or Senior Engineer to deliver technical solutions to project teams within required cost, quality and time targets.
Your key responsibilities will include the design support of vehicle subsystems or components within a project. You will provide support for BOM; create component drawings, assembly drawings, Fit and function testing of subsystem components as well as collate test results and concern reports. You will provide support to the department which will include providing support to the Release Engineer/Manager in generating planning and proposal information if required. You will also support the department in achieving the requirements of quality systems approval (QS 9000, Ford Q1 etc)
Successful candidates will be educated to at least HNC level in Electrical/Electronics Engineering. Ideally you will have an automotive background, but applications are also welcome from candidates from other transport industries. You will be PC literate and have some CAD knowledge. You will also have good communication and presentation skills. Furthermore you will need flexibility to travel as this position may involve short and long haul travel in order to support project needs.
