Our client is a fast growing inkjet printing company with world leading technology and a growing number of international customers. They are currently looking to recruit a Junior Controls Engineer / Junior Electrical Engineer to join their team.
Reporting to the Control Systems Manager, as the Junior Controls Engineer / Junior Electrical Engineer you will be responsible for the maintenance of existing control systems. You may also be involved in undertaking engineering design, development, construction and testing of new product control systems.
To succeed in this role you must have some experience of working in an automated process environment, and you must be educated at a minimum to HNC/HND level in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
You will also need a good working knowledge of:
- PLC and motion systems including Drive Technology, HMI and Networks equipment
- mechanical, pneumatic and electrical systems
A degree (or equivalent) in Electrical or Control Engineering would be a distinct advantage, but isnt essential.
Additionally, as the Junior Controls Engineer / Junior Electrical Engineer you will need a logical approach to problem resolution along with a flexible working approach. Youll also need the ability to work well with others at every level.
