Automotive OEM based in Wiltshire seeks a V5/Solidworks Design Engineer to design jig and fixtures for special purpose machinery.
System to use Catia V5, Solidworks (Excel,Word)
General background Design of Jig and fixtures or special purpose machines (not press tool design or Body in White (BIW) design)
Knowledge of engine machine process would be a benefit but not essential
Able to produce 3D models and 3D assemblies
Able to produce 2D assembly drawings from 3D information
Able to produce detail drawings from 3D models
Able to work unsupervised and as part of a team
Normal hours + O/T (small possibility of shift work)
