Java/C++ Software Engineers required for major aerospace prime contractor based in Somerset.
Currently recruiting for a number of Java/C++ Software Engineers to join a major aerospace prime contractor based in Somerset. Candidates must be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of either Java or C++ and understanding of the full software engineering lifecycle (requirements through to support).
Any knowledge of military or mission management software development is advantageous but is not a pre-requisite. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out software design and development over the full software lifecycle. They will use tools such as DOORS for requirements engineering and UML for Software Design and Implementation and so a good knowledge of these tools is advantageous.
PLEASE NOTE: due to the nature of my clients work, candidates will be required to undergo MoD security clearance prior to appointment.
