Description
My client is the leading solutions provider of weld free steelwork connections. They aim to provide cost effective innovative solutions, using their vast experience, strong technical and engineering skills and the latest methods.
Their team of engineers are able to offer a comprehensive Technical Support package to back up the products, from everyday product applications, to non-standard product applications, to bespoke product design. The versatility of the product range is underlined by the diversity of the markets in which my client is present.
They now have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced International Sales Manager / Export Sales Manager to join the growinf team in Bradford, West Yorkshire.
JOB PURPOSE:
To manage the export sales activities of the company in the designated regions and provide direction and motivation to the Export team.
JOB ROLE:
* To support and increase the worldwide distributor network, support International project work and ncrease the turnover in the expor territories
* Team motivation through team meetings regularly
* Identify potential international markets and key specifiers as well as visiting them.
* Support implementation of the sales strategy to the international distributors
* Identify project opportunities, whilst identifying global interaction of the specifiers and contractors.
* Manage all international enquires, projects and specifications
* Extensive travel in the UK and Worldwide
* Implement International marketing initiatives.
PERSON REQUIREMENTS:
* Minimum of HNC qualification in either a Mechanical or Structural related subject
* Background in either Construction, Engineering or Specification industries
* Used to overseas travel
* At least 2 years of Specification selling
* Experience of managing a sales team
* An understanding of the construction industry and allied trades as well as technical issues.
* Experience of selling on an international basis is a pre-requisite
* Must be confidentand able to speak in public for group presentations
* Full driving licence and valid Passport.
* When not travelling you will be based in Bradford, West Yorkshire.
* A 2nd language is essential, ideally Spanish or Italian
