An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Field Service Engineer to cover the UK, Europe and some worldwide locations, to be based out of its Bedford based headquarters.
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Field Service Engineer to cover the UK, Europe and some worldwide locations, to be based out of its Bedford based headquarters.
THE ROLE
As the Field Service Engineer you will spend 50% of your time in the UK and 50% of the time covering Europe and the world so it is important that you are happy with travel. You will be responsible for the service and maintenance of a wide range of electro-mechanical packaging and converting machinery as well as providing technical support on its products, on this basis you will need to live within 90 minutes of the site in Bedford.
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will have good PLC skills preferably using either Siemens or Allen Bradleys from either a service, maintenance or commissioning background. You will also need have the desire to travel within the role, and the self motivation to do so. This role will suit and electro-mechanical engineer or electrical engineer with good PLC skills and the desire to learn the latest technology.
