- Excellent business acumen with a track record of sales support within an internal sales function.
- Must have a strong customer focus, and be committed to total Customer Service and Satisfaction.
- Quick, analytical mind with abilities for problem solving.
- Excellent telephone manner, with the ability to build rapport with customers.
- Exposure to a Commercial / Sales environment.
- Professional and personal drive, energy and enthusiasm.
- Understanding of computer systems to effectively operate MS Office based products.
- Strong organisational skills, and a high level of attention to detail, are essential.

Main purpose of job;
- To work effectively with the rest of the UK Team to reach the team's agreed goals.
- Contribute actively to team meetings providing customer feedback and market information.
- Handle customer enquiries received via telephone / fax / email. Calculate the price following guidelines set and quote with an achievable delivery time.
- To quote and process orders from customers in the required time period.
- Follow up quotations promptly and provide feedback of market pricing to UK Sales Team leader.
- Maintain regular contact with assigned accounts and achieve agreed sales targets while building and maintaining customer relationships.
- Deal with any customer service or technical issues which may arise, with the assistance of the UK Sales Team Leader.
