An excellent opportunity exists for an Internal Sales Manager on a permanent basis to join an international company with an impressive cliental base of 70,000.
As The Internal Sales Executive you will be required to develop a positive and productive long-term relationship with the existing client base, which results in customer retention and maintenance revenue, encouraging customers to invest in a maintenance package for their current software package. The Internal Sales Executive will have accounts assigned to them directly and /or be required to assist with accounts or channel partners assigned to other Internal Sales Executive.
The Internal Sales Executive will carry out the following;
•Protect and grow the maintenance packages revenue stream from assigned customers and/or channel partners
•Drive maintenance renewal activities according to defined processes, procedures and systems
•Ensure timely and accurate maintenance renewals are in place for all open agreements
•Serve as liaison between customers and appropriate company departments to resolve escalated questions and issues and to maximize maintenance revenue
•Resolve account problems and customer concerns or proposals
•Assist in the tracking and reporting of customer renewal and retention data
•Proactively manage or assist with assigned accounts, which may include visits to customer sites in agreement with the Regional Sales Account Manager
The Internal Sales Executive will need to meet the following key requirements for the position;
•Sales or telephone sales experience and/or customer service/support experience
•The Internal Sales Executive will need good Sales and negotiation skills
•Strong objection handling skills
•Oral and written communication skills are essential for the Internal Sales Executive
•Fluent in English (not necessarily 1st language) and at least one other European language (German, French, Spanish, Italian, Eastern European)
•Basic knowledge of the software industry and typical product deployment although this is not necessary
•Advanced Microsoft skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access
•Experience of working with and understanding contracts
•Interpersonal skills
•Organizational and follow up skills, problem solving and analytical skills
•Good decision making ability
•Strong customer service orientation
