Internal Sales Engineer - Bedfordshire
Product range includes frequency inverters, servo drives, geared motors, motors, clutches and brakes. It also features automation solutions with integrated software, visualisation and controls as well as system engineering, coupling technology and services.
You will:
Offer technical and commercial support to Area Sales Managers and customers.
Contribute towards achieving regional and company sales targets.
Actively support Area Sales Managers and undertake Key Account management activities in developing new business opportunities.
Formal reviews to be conducted annually. Informal reviews to be conducted on a monthly basis, at the discretion of the Internal Sales Manager.
Technical Product Support
- Offer high levels of technical product support, application expertise and industry knowledge to area sales managers and customers, in terms of product functionality and features, selection, applications, markets and competitors.
- Define and agree customer specifications.
- Assist in the creation of clear sales and support literature when/if required
- Maintain high levels of expertise in specialist products, whilst developing good knowledge of all mainline product ranges.
- Support product management tasks for specialist products
.- Offer technical support to the distribution team when required.
Targets and Objectives
- Assist and contribute towards achieving Regional and Company targets in terms of sales turnover, maintaining/improving sales margins, improving customer satisfaction, maximizing stock turns and minimizing product returns.
