We are currently looking to recruit an Internal Sales Engineer, based in Workington, Cumbria. Our Client is a leader in power and automation technologies that enable utility and industry customers to improve performance while lowering environmental impacts.
The role:
An Internal Sales Engineer is key in providing first class technical and product support to the Global customer base, Co-ordinate request for quotations from ABB customers for proprietary Temperature and DP Flow products. The role involves understanding of customer design criteria, specification and standards, produce costing based on your design and understanding commercial and legal aspects of providing global solutions.
Key Responsibilities and duties
To be responsible for achieving target of profitable orders.
To be responsible for building and maintaining client relationship.
To be responsible for providing technical support.
To be responsible for producing final quotation to customer.
To be responsible for Clarification of customer specification.
To be responsible for producing a technical specification for manufacturing.
To be responsible for contract reviews with Engineering and Production.
To be responsible for managing and prioritising own workload.
Personal Experience and Qualifications:
Preferably educated to HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering discipline or a time served Engineer.
Would benefit from being computer literate.
Good telephone manner and communication skills with a can do attitude.
