A Qualified ACA/MIAA professional needed to deliver the internal audit and risk strategy for global group.
A leading global group who specialise in major support services to the defence industry are seeking an experienced Internal Audit and Risk Manager.
Reporting to the Group Finance Director the purpose of this role is to deliver the internal audit and risk strategy for the Group to ensure effective delivery of business objectives. You will develop and deliver a risk based internal audit activity focused on key risks to achieve corporate objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish Enterprise risk management process
- Monitor group-wide risk reporting systems
- Manage internal audits on a risk assessment basis
- Ensure timely communication and review of controls and risks
- Manage the Internal audit and risk budget
- Ad-hoc assignments.
Candidate Characteristics:
- Degree, ACA,MIAA with a minimum of 3 years PQE including management experience.
- Experience in running an internal audit function
- Able to work on your own and pursue issues beyond programmed work.
- Ability to communicate and influence at senior management and board level.
