A renewable energy consultant in St Albans seeks an intermediate mechanical design engineer to join their team.
This Building Services Renewable Energy Company in St Albans requires an Intermediate Mechanical Building Services Design Engineer; you will be involved in developing project designs from conception through to completion and designing and specifying renewable energy and specifying under floor heating systems. You will need to produce drawings; schematics and installation documents attend site meetings and planning installation programmes and undertake site surveys along with some report writing. You will ideally have an ONC/HNC/HND-degree or similar in Mechanical, Environmental or Building Services Engineering. You will also have the ability to perform SAP and SBEM assessments and have gained previous experience in Mechanical Building Services along with a good understanding of current legislation e.g. Building Regulations and relevant codes for Sustainable homes.
