The Role:
As an Intermediate Mechanical Building Services Design Engineer, you will undertake, administer the preparation of the design and drawings for a project within the technical programme and commercial restraints to the Clients satisfaction from project conception to completion.
You will be involved in :
Ensuring design complies with Clients specification and all standards and regulations
Review installation to ensure compliance with design intent
Represent company at meetings
Recommend appropriate design solutions
Monitor design costs inline with project budget
Assist team from a design perspective with preparation of tender documentation
Regular liaison with client / architect to ensure strong relationships
Ensure design is undertaken with QA procedures
Qualifications, Experience & Opportunities:
Educated to HND level having either completed a craft of technical apprenticeship within the Building Services Industry or graduate with Building Services or related subject. Will preferably be a member of CIBSE or other appropriate professional institution and will have the experience to obtain Chartered Status if not already gained.
Must be IT Literate
A graduate member of CIBSE or ImechE
Must be a motivated, professional team player with design experience gained in a Building Services Environment
