Description
Intel Consultant - circa £35,000 + car - Gloucestershire. My client is looking for an intel consultant to join their intel/microsoft team. The role involves leasing with technical architects and providing input and understanding the solution delivered, disscussing any technical issues with customers and gain full agreement for final scope of work. You will be working closely with the project officer in the delivery and documentation of solutions, using knowledge to solve any on-site problems that may occur. The ideal candidate will specialise in virtualisation (VMWARE) and be very familiar with the installation of VMWare VDI and Lab Manager. A VCP would be preferable. You must be able to demonstrate experience in a field engineer/consultant role and have an in depth understanding of windows infrastructure ( Exchange server, SQL server, Terminal services, ISA server, mobile communications). In addition IBM systems x familiarity would be beneficial. Extensive experience on the intel platform with storage is essential. An MCSE and Citrix experience are advantageous.
