Description
This leading Midlands based global supplier of engines and engine systems into the worldwide automotive industry is looking to recruit an instrumentation engineer to work within its Build and Test facility.
THE ROLE
You will be responsible for the support of all of the new test facility installations as well as trouble shooting problems in the Engine build and test area. You will be responsible to the instrumentation manager and you will be given the responsibility for instrumentation maintenance.
THE CANDIDATE
You will need to have a strong background in instrumentation from within a test and development environment. Any experience of the automotive industry would be nice but not essential. Preferably you will be qualified in instrumentation to ONC/HNC level however the most important pre-requisite is the ability support a facility in terms of instrumentation installations and maintenance.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- ONC/HNC in Instrumentation.
- Instrumentation Maintenance Experience
- Installation Experience
- Automotive Background - Not Essential
