Our client, a UK based Chemical company, is looking for an experienced Instrument Analyst to join their Lab team.
Degree qualified chemist.
Experience to join an established team of 2 analysts and a lab technician.
Familiar with wet chemical techniques for the analysis of inorganic materials.
Experienced in the following instrumental techniques with respect to sample preparation, instrument use and in some cases programme writing:
- ICP-OES
- Atomic Absorption
- Spectrograph
- XRF
Forward thinking individual who can assess the instrument needs of the analytical department to evaluate and advise regarding new equipment purchases.
Familiar with the requirements of safety data sheets and able to source information and advise on the content for any of the company's new products.
Competent in the assessment of chemicals to comply with COSHH legislation.
Reporting to the Technical Manager.
