Instrument & Control Engineer - Braintree - Salary Negotiable
Have you worked within the oil & gas industry with instrumentation and controls experience? If you are an Instrument & Control Engineer with experience of fieldwork and factory testing our client will be keen to hear about you. You will be responsible for all activities relating to the supply of Instrumentation & Controls specific to Gas, Liquid Fuel treatment packaged systems for the Gas, Petro-Chemicals and Power industry
Duties:
Review of client P&ID's to specifications to determine specific requirements
Preparation of company P&ID, bills of material and instrument/Valve data sheets
Evaluation of wiring and hook-up drawings and preparing specifications for E&I module installations
Preparation and issue of Enquiry Requisitions to vendors for quotations
Evaluate vendor quotations for commercial and technical acceptability
Preparation of purchase requisitions
Perform engineering calculations related to instrumentation and controls that validate design decisions and cost estimates
Vendor document reviews and interdisciplinary document reviews
Performing vendor inspections when necessary
Support sales and contract teams
Skills/Qualifications
HNC Mechanical Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
Instrumentation & Controls Experience
Oil and Gas Industry knowledge with experience of fieldwork and factory testing
AutoCAD and good PC skills
