Our client requires an installation Electrician with a background in Industrial installation and inspection. The position covers the hole of the UK although most of the work will not involve overnight or weekend stop overs.
This position provides a company van and there is plenty of overtime available (Time and a half Monday - Saturdays and Double time on Sundays). The successful candidate should be aware that the position will involve working a lot of hours - some of the Electricians who are working here are clocking 50-70 hours overtime a month.
The successful candidate will be required;
To be able to carry out post installations checks and identify problems involving controls and air handling units.
To be able to carry out interconnecting wiring between control panels and air handling units
To ensure that health and safety on projects is taken into account.
To ensure the growth of the department by ensuring that the level of service offered is high.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
ESSENTIAL
1. 16th Edition 1EE REGS
2. Understanding of control system
3. Ability to work on own initiative
4. Full understanding of motor wiring methods
5. Must be able to fault find / resolve electrical issues on 3 phase, single phase and low voltage control gear.
6. A minimum of one year's experience in each of the above items.
DESIRABLE
1. C + G 2360 Part 1 & 2 OR:
2. C + G 2391
3. Understanding of Air Handling Unit design.
