Injection Moulding Technician. FLT licence required. Previous setting or technicians experience as is exp within the plastics industry preferred.
My client has a requirement for an injectuion moulding technician to be responsible for setting of the press conditions to ensure components are produced to customer specifications. Main duties will include starting and stopping of plastic injection moulding presses, inputting information and setting machines and creating new processing information for new components to be produced, general maintenance of the injection moulding machines inluding minor electrical maintenance. Ensuring tool maintenance and cleanliness eg; guards in place, oil leaks repaired et.Occasional driving of fork lift truck; (fork lift truck licence (RTITB counter balance). The ideal candidate will have previous setting or technicians experience. Previous experience within the plastics industry preferred. A time served apprenticeship in a related field also preferred.
