Highway Design Engineer
Our client is a global firm of designers, engineers, planners and business consultants providing a diverse range of professional services to clients around the world, exerting significant influence on the built environment in more than 37 countries around the world. We are currently looking to recruit a Highway Design Engineer to work on a major international project based at Euston.
The Highway Design Engineer will
-Coordinate with other contributors to the project
-Supervise day to day highway design with team members
-Supervise CAD Technicians
-Be responsible for own designs, drawings and calculations and that of small design teams.
-Issuing work to graduate engineers and technicians.
Ideal candidates will have knowledge and experience of UK highway design, design standards, design experience of surface water drainage, road signs and lines, pavement and liaison with statutory undertakers. Candidates must have a strong commercial acumen, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be a proven leader and be able to work as part of a team.
