Helpdesk Support Administrator
Trainee help desk/ 1st line support position - Basingstoke - £18,000
This is a fantastic opportunity to break into IT and receive excellent occupational training.
You will be joining an extremely successful services provider within the customer service/help desk team, taking responsibility for the provision of 1st line support to customers over the telephone.
Potential employees will have basic IT skills and a keen interest of working in the IT industry. Academically, you should be qualified to a BTEC, GNVQ, A levels or an equivalent level.
A degree qualification and relevant work experience is not essential but would obviously be a considerable advantage.
This role offers candidates the opportunity to take the first steps on a career path in IT, operating in a close knit team within an expanding and prosperous organisation.
Applicants should be prepared to work on a shift basis, requiring you to work days, nights and weekends.
The shift pattern currently operates as below (please make sure you are happy with this arrangement before applying for this role).
Week 1:
Monday to Friday: 23:00 - 07:00
Saturday & Sunday: 19:00 - 07:00
Week 2:
Monday to Friday: No work
Saturday & Sunday: 07:00 - 19:00
Week 3:
Monday to Friday: 07:00 - 15:00
Saturday & Sunday: No work
Week 4:
Monday to Friday: 15:00 - 23:00
Saturday & Sunday: No work
