Leading UK Design Practice currently requires a senior structural or heavy civils based engineer for their office in Croydon, or Leeds

My client is currently looking to bring on board either a senior structural or heavy civils based engineer to assist in predominately concrete and masonry retaining structures within a Sustainability/environmental based environment.

Ideally degree qualified with a professional membership you should have some relevant experience within either a structural or heavy civils environment. Environmental or Sustainability industry experience would be advantageous but at this point our client is willing to look at those who demonstrate a strong can attitude.

This role will involve you doing detailed structural design of mass concrete, reinforced concrete and masonry structures. There will be occasions for site visits, so any previous experience on site would be an advantage.

This role could potentially offer you something a little different, whether you are in the Environmental Industry already and want to utilise your heavy civils side or if you are a structural engineer who wants to add another sector to your portfolio.
