Fantastic career opportunity for a Health & Safety Manager - East Midlands - £35k basic + Car allowance & Excellent Package + BONUS
The Role :- Working in an office based Health and Safety Manager's role you will be responsible for:
- Maintaining Site Regulations
- Hold H&S meetings with the Project Manager
- Carry out the site inductions
- Implementing the relevant Health and Safety procedures
- Ensuring the compliance of Health and Safety procedures.
The Company:- The Company is made up of four distinct divisions which includes a Retail Construction division, providing Retail construction and technical services for their Tesco Framework
The Company has completed in excess of 75 projects through their Project Manager's for the retailer, consisting of mainly new-build and Fit-out of superstores and workload for this one client alone in 2008 is worth £100 million.
Candidate Profile:- As Health and Safety advisor you will have the ability to be diplomatic - with a firm but fair approach as well as being very organised due to the tight deadlines imposed in this fast paced and challenging environment.
An up to date understanding of CDM and COSH Regulations is a must as well as some form of Health & Safety qualification (NEBOSH, IOSH etc) and experience of Heath and Safety in a Construction environment. (Housing is fine)
