Description
Our client's mission is to actively helps people to grow, by bringing together intelligence, opinion and experience from the food and grocery chain.
They work with consumers, companies and individuals throughout the food and grocery chain to ensure they are providing information, research and leading edge best practice to help companies grow their business and develop their people.
They wish to appoint a Head of Supply Chain who will take international responsibility for ensuring they become the preferred supplier of Supply Chain information for the UK and International grocery industry.
You will be responsible for the development and growth of the supply chain team acting as its mentor / coach. Excellent networking skills will enable you to build new external relationships leading to the development and implementation of new business opportunities. You will be the International supply chain ambassador responsible for the quality of the teams research, presentations, public speaking engagements and training courses. You must be comfortable being recognised as an industry guru and have the presence and gravitas to fulfil all that this entails.
A consummate knowledge of the food and grocery supply chain and its future requirements is essential as you will need to stay ahead of the competition and ensure that you have the latest commercial outputs at your disposal. Excellent analytical skills and intellectual strength are prerequisites for the role. Commercial acumen and a proven track record of delivery are essential.
