Hardware Design Engineers - PCI/ VME bus
Looking for Hardware Design Engineers. Also opportunities for team leader roles.
Candidates should be engineering graduates, able to demonstrate practical post graduate experience of digital hardware design, and be familiar with some or all of the following:
*32/64 bit microprocessors, preferably Intel 80x86 architecture
* High performance communications peripheral devices, e.g. Gigabit Ethernet or SCSI
* Complex programmable logic devices
* High performance bus architectures e.g. PCI-Express, RapidIO, CompactPCI or VME
* High speed digital logic (100MHz and faster)
* Advanced memory technologies, e.g. DDR or DDR II SDRAM
You will be involved with design and development of single board computer products from definition through to introduction to manufacturing. You will project lead and design review. You will provide production technical support and pre and post sales backup to the technical support team. The more senior role will involve additional team management responsibilities, both at the technical level and also in terms of personnel management.
