THE JOB
HVAC CONTROLS PROJECT ENGINEER
Due to continued success and expansion my client is now looking to recruit an experienced Project Engineer.
Located around the South East and Reporting to the Project Manager, the above position will be responsible for undertaking the following works on a day to day;
•Project engineer on both small and extensive projects using Trend, Cylon, North, and Tridium control systems.
•Manage project quality using Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project software
•Prepare project manuals including Description of Operations.
•Undertake control system designs.
•Prepare Control systems and applications design.
•Prepare control strategies.
•Undertake control valve sizing.
•Prepare equipment schedules.
•Programme and implement the control of works, procurement and manufacture.
•Prepare commissioning documentation.
•Supervise and advise site personnel in commissioning of the designed control systems.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
He/she should have experience in both conventional and DDC control systems together with a good knowledge of electrical motor control panels.
Knowledge of Trend control systems is essential and experience with Cylon would be an advantage.
Computer literacy is essential and the engineer should be capable of writing software strategies for one of the above systems and have a full understanding of the theory of automatic controls associated with the heating, ventilating and air conditioning industries.
A good electrical background, including the capability to design electrical control panels including motor starter circuits and safety interlocks, would be an added advantage.
Drawings are to be prepared using a CAD design system.
Candidate should also hold a full UK Driving Licence and be UK Resident
