THE JOB
HVAC Controls Engineer
Due to continued success and expansion my client is now looking to recruit an experienced HVAC controls engineer to cover the Glasgow and Central belt area of Scotland.
The main responsibilities are development and commissioning of Control Software to meet agreed specifications.
Other duties/responsibilities are outlined below
•Assist and produce project proposals.
•Review software requirements for specific projects.
•Produce functional design specifications.
•Produce software designs as required to meet functional design specification.
•Produce system database, graphic displays and reports etc.
•Produce test specifications.
•Test software.
•Commission software applications on site.
•Work with project engineers to produce project documentation including drawings, schematics and operation and maintenance manuals etc.
•Track software development status and report on a regular basis.
•Initiate change control to ensure that management is aware of all possible changes in software scope.
•Complete software development and handover to clients/service.
•Ensure project close out.
•Ensure status and report on a regular basis.
Candidate requirements
•HVAC controls experience
•Qualified Electrical engineer
•Controls Commissioning OR Servicing experience
•Relevant technical qualification ie HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
•Relevant experience in commissioning process and start ups
REMUNERATION
Basic salary up to £30k (depending on experience), + BUPA + Company Pension + 25 days holiday + Shares Scheme + Company Car.
