Role Summary
To provide comprehensive generalist HR support to the HR Manager. The role encompasses all aspects of HR offering the opportunity for the job holder to develop skills in all generalist areas. This position is based at the Huyton site.
Principal Accountabilities and Essential Duties
•Be the first point of contact for line managers on all aspects of people management issues.

Principal Accountabilities and Essential Duties
•Be the first point of contact for line managers on all aspects of people management issues.
•Ensure resource requirements are met for the organisation including internal and external recruitment programmes managing the recruitment process through to induction.
•Responsible for absence management reporting and providing support to line managers in managing absence, liaising with Occupational Health as appropriate.
•Ensure support for Goodrich compliance and improvement initiatives including HR audit work, provision of regular and ad hoc management information etc.
•Ensure Apprenticeship training programme deliverables are met through the effective management and supervision of all Apprentices.
•Conduct first stage disciplinary and grievance investigations and hearings.
•Support performance review process including direct administration of the electronic system.
•Support full range of HR generalist duties including projects as required from time to time.
Career Experience
•Must be at least part CIPD qualified.
•Must be graduate or equivalent calibre.
•Demonstrable background of working with HR systems and policies, providing advice and guidance at all levels
•Minimum three years HR generalist experience ideally within a manufacturing environment.
•Must have direct experience of working alongside trade unions.
•Must have current UK passport, driving licence and be willing to travel occasionally.
