The role offers the opportunity to provide strategic input to and execution of a review of the current Resource Strategy, Reward Strategy and Career Structure . The role also provides generalist HR Business Partner support to the Civil Nuclear team, which is a an extremely fast growing part of the Business entering into new markets never ventured before by RR. The role will also play a key role in the Implementation Plan for the business to migrate to a Corporate HR Internet

Job Description

The role offers the opportunity to provide strategic input to and execution of a review of the current Resource Strategy, Reward Strategy and Career Structure . The role also provides generalist HR Business Partner support to the Civil Nuclear team, which is a an extremely fast growing part of the Business entering into new markets never ventured before by RR. The role will also play a key role in the Implementation Plan for the business to migrate to a Corporate HR Internet System. The individual will be required to work within a sub group represented by Corporate HR, Business HR and the Corporate Finance Shared Service team

A big challenge of the role is to work with the local HR BP and Senior HR BP to re-align a plan to standardise Terms and Conditions across the business

The successful candidate will work alongside a highly experienced RR HR BP and will have the opportunity to work within a team with a breadth of RR experience and knowledge.
Depending on the experience and/or specialist background of the successful candidate other business opportunities could develop for the individual to engage in during the six month period

Skills
CIPD Qualified.
5-10 years experience in the HR field.
A successful track record in providing a generalist HR service as well as supporting organisations in the implementation of people / people related processes and activities.
Have a proven track record in accomplishing some significant projects.
Have demonstrable experience in one / many Change Management programmes.
Up to date Employment Law knowledge.
Ability to project manage multiple projects / activities.
Experience of SAP Working across multi-sites and / or in a Global Organisation

Experience
5 - 10 years experience in the HR field. Experience would preferably be as a Generalist or as more of a Specialist in the one or more of the following fields, IR, HR Systems Implementations, Resourcing or Reward.
Experince and knowledge of the Nuclear Industry would be desirable but also interested in those with experience in Engineering and/or Manufacturing organisations

Working Hours
37 hours per week. There is an expectation that additional hours will be worked to achieve the requirements of the job. An all-inclusive rate is desirable.
