The role offers a challenging opportunity for an HR professional, to work in partnership with a strong management team, understanding key drivers, objectives and performance issues. You will identify, develop and successfully deliver HR solutions to improve business performance. You will also develop HR strategies and undertake specific project work against strategic HR objectives. In addition, you will work with line managers and HR professionals to deliver in all areas of HR such as workforce planning, compensation and benefits, employee relations and development and engagement and increasing the capability of my clients workforce.
A highly reputable manufacturing company are looking for an HR Business Partner to join their team based on the East Lancashire/Yorkshire border. The position will be to cover maternity leave, and will run from June 2008 April 2009.
My client employs, on this site, both skilled and semi skilled manufacturing personnel along with managerial, professional and clerical personnel.

The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent and ideally be CIPD qualified. You will have excellent interpersonal, planning and organisational skills and should be comfortable in dealing with ambiguity, be resilient and results orientated. You will have a proven track record and experience of a broad generalist HR Business Partner role.
