Totec\'s client are a leading supplier in the Motor industry, supplying for hydraulic, pneumatic, oil, fuel, electrical and airframe structural equipment.
They are looking to recruit a Group Supply Manager on a permanent basis to work on their Cambridge site.
Salary: £40,000
Responsible for the Supply Manager, Rotables Controller and 3 buyers the main responsibilities include:
* Plan, develop and implement strategy for Group Supply so as to meet agreed organisational performance plans within agreed budgets and timescales.
* Ensure quality standards are adhered to with regards to FAA, EASA and ISO 9000:2000.
* Negotiate pricing strategies and service levels with suppliers/vendors and monitor performance thereof.
* Liaise directly with Production to ensure that potential threats to customer service are identified and avoided.
* Establish, maintain, monitor and report on appropriate systems for measuring.
Candidates must:
* have strategic purchasing experience incl. JIT, management of stock and inventory level.
* be familiar with MRO materials & logistics industry.
* have product knowledge of engines & airframe rotables.
* be familiar with FAA/EASA regulations.
