Excellent opportunities now exist for Trainee RF Engineers to join this leading, state of the art technology company which is a global leader in the design and manufacture of satellite systems. They are now seeking a number of Trainee RF Engineers to be based at their sites in Stevenage and Portsmouth:
You will support the RF systems engineering team engaged on the design, analysis, hardware specification and system integration of advanced communication payloads. Specific tasks are likely to include participation in communication payload projects, proposals, and studies, supporting the payload architecture development, analysis and support validation and test strategy development and specification.
Ideally degree level qualified in Engineering, Electronics, Science, Mathematics or a relevant discipline, you will have a genuine interest in working in the space industry and in the field of space communications in particular. A basic knowledge of spaceborn communication systems is essential. You will be given appropriate training to develop your potential and some international travel will be involved. With strong analytical skills, you will have the ability to organise and co-ordinate work, have a methodical approach to work with sufficient commitment and drive to complete tasks even where difficult conditions are encountered.
