Integral Powertrain is a high technology provider of powertrain engineering services to Vehicle Manufacturers and Tier 1 suppliers. Using advanced engineering processes such as automated design and model based calibration tools, it aims to deliver higher quality results within compressed timescales.
The company is also developing its own patented technologies such as its Supergen boosted hybrid solution, with belt driven engine integration. Other complementary technologies being developed include other pressure charging and hybrid systems.
To support the growth in client projects and technology development, the company seeks well qualified and motivated graduate engineers to work within our creative team in an innovative, fast moving environment.
We are looking for engineers who are interested in Powertrain Technology, and you should be able to demonstrate this via outside interests, relevant projects, or through previous work experience.
You will be given the opportunity to adapt to new technical and professional challenges, within a very varied project environment. In return you will develop quickly, and we will reward you based on your performance and development.

Your initial roles within Integral Powertrain may include:
• Engine component and system design.
• Mechanical analysis of engines, components and systems.
• Engine development for performance and durability.
• Modelling of powertrain systems and their control systems using Matlab / Simulink.
• Engine management system applications, including engine mapping, emission development, driveability and extreme climate development.
• Support IP's engine and vehicle testing activities at our partners test facilities including within engine dynamometer cells, cold chambers, emission test facilities and high speed test facilities.
• Instrumentation and testing of prototype vehicles.
