Employing 17,000 people, our client builds, manages, operates and maintains an extensive range of complex assets for a variety of customers in the defence and civil sectors. They are currently looking to recruit a number of Engineering Graduates to join their team. In view of the nature of work our client is in, all potential employees will have to pass security clearance and will therefore undergo stringent identity checks.

This is a fantastic opportunity to put your skills from University into practice. Our client is looking for a number of Engineering Graduates to train to become Technical Support Managers, and Project and Contract Managers to join their Defence Services division - a division that is focused on a range of services from the maintenance of military aircraft, to the provision of training simulator maintenance. Not only do these roles offer ongoing and comprehensive training, but for the right person, ample scope for progression with a global leader.
As a Graduate Mechanical / Aeronautical Engineer you will get involved in the technical aspects of aircraft maintenance, as well as broader commercial management. These positions also offer training in a variety of areas ranging from bidding contracts, contract negotiation, business improvement, customer relationship management and most importantly, people management.
To succeed in this position you must have a minimum 2:1 degree (or equivalent) in an Engineering discipline. You will also need to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
Graduates undertaking this role will work on defence-related contracts and will need to be vetted by the Defence Vetting Agency.
