The Management Development Program (MDP) provides qualified engineering graduates with the opportunity to learn the business and assume leadership positions within the company.

The Management Development Program (MDP) provides qualified engineering graduates with the opportunity to learn the business and assume leadership positions within the company. Job Responsibilities:

The participant will work in four assignments in various functional departments during a two-year rotation. First-year assignments can include planning/production control, product engineering, process control, purchasing, cost reduction, quality engineering or sales account manager. Second-year assignments could include any of the aforementioned, along with a first-line supervisory assignment in manufacturing.

The member will also complete training in statistical operations tools (Lean, TOC, P&L management), supervision and leadership. Members will also have the opportunity to make presentations to upper management.

Requirements:

Degree in relevant discipline, i.e. Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial, Manufacturing or Electrical Engineering.

Must be willing to relocate to any of the various UK sites in the first two years. All program members will relocate after the first year of the program and most will relocate after completion of the program. The successful candidate will be rewarded with an accommodation allowance paid towards monthly living expenses during the training programme.

Successful candidates will be high energy, organised, results-oriented people with strong technical acumen and excellent communication and collaboration skills.
