Enthusiastic Graduate Engineer / Power Electronic Engineer required to create successful designs from initial enquiry stage through to completion within an expanding engineering group.

Salary & Location: £18-20k + Pension + Private Medical Insurance + 23 days Holiday + Company Car. South West, Gloucestershire, Stroud, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Cirencester.

The Role: Within the remit of the role you will be responsible for the successful design of power electronics. Reporting directly to the senior design engineer you will work to support the volume of projects they are currently working on. You will be involved with client discussions at initial enquiry stage and will follow the project through to completion alongside the senior engineers. While the senior engineers will complete the larger, more project orientated contracts you will complete most of the continual flow of design work on an individual responsibility basis. This role would ideally be suited to an engineer looking to technically progress and who enjoys working with cutting edge technology.

The Candidate:
"Either a Degree with Power Electronics modules or a lower qualification with 12-18 months in industry with some exposure to Power electronics and its principles.

Supplying predominately to welding companies, manufacturers of battery charging equipment and the telecoms industry they have grown massively over the past 5 years. A forward thinking company, they intend to widen their product range, breaking into a larger range of industries. As this form of transformers are a relatively new technology, they view them as a massive growth area and are looking to double their turnover in the next 2 years.
